Pic shows the 3 cracks. The middle one shown below i think is the culprit. The outside 2 cracks is fine and i think pulled from the front section. From what i can remember the (now fired) builder started pooring concrete at the back, more or less stopped at where the front crack is then carried on at the back. The concrete have set already when he started pouring again in the front causing a weak joint. I will dig +- 400mm down alongside the foundation to check the soil before i decide how to underpin. Not sure if i should jack the front section yet.

The picture below show the foundation wall shifted +- 5mm

Well my conclusion – it seems if i have to start digging. I will dig on the front section first to the foundation level to discover what condition the soil is. I do know there is some clay there so maybe since this problem has started +- 2 months ago the clay could have dried. When i started the place my dear brother told me i should put in some metal reinforcing. When i consulted the builder he said it was not nessary (the one i fired) Need i say more – i will add picture as i go along in this categorie.

Anybody want to do some digging is welcome to contact me
